Masaki Murashita of Hemoptysis has posted some more cool advice on his HookInMouth.net ‘HemoptyBlog’. This time around – What To Expect When Auditioning For A Band, touching on:

A bit off topic for Network Or Die, but I’ve just received a link to some solid recording studio tips from someone who knows! Masaki Murashita is not only the front man for Hemoptysis (a band I heavily support), but an engineer and Artist Relations Representative for award-winning producer, Ryan Greene.
Masaki is currently writing for HookInMouth.net, a website covering underground metal bands. Since Hemoptysis are currently in the studio (Read Official Press Release) recording their debut full length, he thought it would be the opportune time to cover the subject.
Damn! Maybe I should have thought of having Masaki head up an audio engineering section on Network Or Die? Well, as much as I hate to send you away, I highly suggest you check out Masaki’s advice by heading over to Getting Ready To Hit The Studio
Sounds a bit cliché, huh? The following video has restored my faith in the fans of unsigned/underground music. As publicist for HEMOPTYSIS, I saw this as a powerful marketing tool, developed by a true metal fan. Bands can’t buy this kind of publicity! My hat goes off to the man known as ‘guitarzero’.
It’s finally here! HEMOPTYSIS’ debut full production video for SHADOW OF DEATH, featuring Chris Cannella of Autumn’s End. Not only is it a cool video, but does a great job highlighting some of the gear used by the band. Endorsers will be proud! Read the Press Release… Continue reading »
Yep, I’ve posted quite a bit about HEMOPTYSIS as of late, but what can I say? This band is on the move and I am very proud to be a part of their promotions team! Check out the official Hemoptysis / SXSW press release. This should go without saying, but please be sure to congratulate the band and show your support by sending them a ton or two of wicked metal love!
I don’t usually spam the board with “vote for my band” posts, but it’s no secret HEMOPTYSIS have my full support. Please click the banner and vote daily until March 8, 2010 to make a truly, hard working band’s dream come true! Thank you.
Wow! It really makes you feel all warm & fuzzy inside when an artist you are working with meets or exceeds their goals. Masaki Murashita, guitarist/vocalist of Hemoptysis, did just that when he wrapped up an endorsement deal with Jackson Guitars today. I am extremely proud of Masaki and Hemoptysis for all of their accomplishments thus far. Please visit the MASAKI MYSPACE to leave him some love! Don’t forget to check out the HEMOPTYSIS WEBSITE as well. Then, come back and read the Press Release. Continue reading »
