Somewhere between having a good time at a show and a too late 911 call, there needs to be a group that can treat, serve, and care for the music-loving, concert attending public. Guess what? Mash Pit is there to do just that!
Mash Pit is an awesome organization providing onsite medical care for event goers. Their goal is to anticipate and alleviate the potential problems of mass gathering events as they relate to medical problems, resulting in an estimated 75% reduction in liability to the venues.
Company founders Analena Graham, Jim Faris, Julia Grossman, Melissa O’Malley, Meia Raboteau, and Medical Director, David Milzman vow to “Fix Bad Trips”.
The organization provides a multitude of services from offering patrons ear protection, aspirin, bandages, and water to basic and advanced life support. There are typically 1 to 5 directors and 10 to 50 employees on-site for management, training and providing patient care.
