Originally slated to be to be “Music Television”, hosted by VJs playing videos 24/7/365, that has long been abandoned. Moving ahead 28 years or so, online video sites are as popular as ever. I wonder if MTV can be duplicated?

This is a reprint of a music marketing idea I posted several months ago, before my website went hard down. I had questioned why bands hadn’t utilized YouTube for an “As Seen On TV” style marketing campaign. In the post, I used my fictional band, Dead Rage, as an example. I found out today that Weezer has done a similar ad campaign with Snuggie, as part of the marketing for their CD, “Raditude”.
