Long Live Ronnie James Dio

This is not along the lines of the format of this blog, but Ronnie James Dio was a big part of my life as a young singer/songwriter in the late 70s/early 80s. With that said, here is my original statement regarding his passing, as written at http://metalcrotch.com

I choose not to mourn the loss of another metal legend, but to remember the joy RONNIE JAMES DIO brought into my life. An incredible artist & songwriter, awesome vocalist & front man, and a true personification of the metal spirit. While “Neon Nights” left me in awe and “Holy Diver” kicked my ass, I will always remember Dio as “The Man On The Silver Mountain.” LONG LIVE DIO! -Wicked D \m/

Wow! Had some major problems going on, so I basically have to rebuild the site. It was time for a change anyway. I don’t think I was using the blog to its full potential.

I still intend to cover my usual artist development ramblings as well as passing on info from some of my music business mentors.

This will also become the home base for Rock / Metal Updates that have been flooding my outlying social networks, meaning more posts, more often!

Of course, I will need to repost a lot of the material from past blogs.
